Exotic Location for a Lodge in the middle of the Amazon in Ecaudor, on one of the biggest rivers that flow into the Amazon. It has 10 rooms divided in 5 Cabins, plus 2 more bedrooms for the owner and their guests. A main lodge has a restaurant which listed as #1 and meeting area. It has it own laundry and canoe which can hold 12 guests.
The Lodge opened on December 31, 2011 and has 10 rooms divided into 5 cabins, with a total capacity for 28 Guests. All the Cabins are in great shape and all the rooms have a private bathroom, electricity and hot water. With a total 35 beds all with new mattresses and linens.
There is a Laundromat that has an air conditioning to maintain the linen fresh and without the humidity, with 2 washing machines, 2 dryers and all necessary for a hotel Laundromat.
There are two more bedrooms, one were the Owners live and the other for the owners guest or family. Both rooms are located in a big cabin where there is also a room for all the tools, winery and Laundromat.
The Lodge has a complete Kitchen with an industrial stove, oven, stainless steel dishwasher, tables and all the requirements that a Lodge kitchen needs to serve it guests.
The dining room has 6 tables to serve 31 persons and tableware for 35 persons. This dining is in the social area where also is located the Bar and a big space where our guest meet during the day or after the their amazing hikes and also where the presentations are made.
Included is an out board motor Canoe with capacity for 12 Guest and a Suzuki HP 40, which only has one year use, with the entire documentary demanded by the Ministry of Fluvial Transport, also 16 life jackets. A new generator of 6.500 watts, motor pump water, new Honda, to pump water from the well up to a Water Tank with capacity for 2.500 lts that is at the height of 15 mts.
The Lodge is located around one hour from Tena, capital of the Province of Napo in the Amazonia. You can only arrive to the Lodge by Canoe, we are located on an Island surrounded by the Napo (3rd biggest river that goes into the Amazon River) and Arajuno Rivers, the size of the Island is 26 hectares. The Lodge (me) has 4,2 hectares but now we are only occupying 2 hectares.
We have currently 7 workers all Native Kichwas that live on the Island and that my wife and I have trained how to treat the Guest. We have in our Staff the Best Native Guide, certified by the Ministry of Tourism of Ecuador.
